Skin type is determined by:
- sebum production,
- the skin's ability to retain moisture
- and the proper functioning of the skin barrier.
Signs by skin type
- Dry skin: Tight feeling, dull appearance, increased sensitivity.
- Normal skin: Uniform texture, balanced hydration and oiliness.
- Combination skin: Oily in the T-zone and prone to dryness on the cheeks.
- Oily skin: Shine, enlarged pores, increased sebum production.
Skin type is determined by sebum production, moisture retention capacity, and skin barrier function.
When do we use face cream?
In skin care, face cream does not play the same role for all skin types.
- For dry, normal, and combination skin: Using face cream is essential. The cream helps to strengthen the skin barrier, lock moisture into the epidermis, and protect the skin from environmental factors.
- For oily skin: We do not recommend face cream, as it can aggravate natural oiliness. Care focuses on light compositions that respect the skin's balance.
For oily skin:
We apply the following products in order: Cleansing with Soapune, pH stabilization with PetalMist, application of face serums (Superior Lift for daytime and Superior Glow for nighttime). For the eyes, we use Goldeneyes serums and 9Infinity creams depending on the treatment (morning or evening).
